Seed quality & germination

Do you state a germination percentage for your seed?
Where a germination figure has been established for a lot, it is shown on that product page along with the date and method of the test. If a product page does not display a figure, it means the current lot has not yet been tested and we will confirm the expected germination in writing when we quote. We do not publish estimated or indicative percentages as if they were test results.
What is your germination guarantee?
If a sealed lot performs materially below the germination percentage stated on its pack or invoice, and it has been stored and sown as advised, we will replace the shortfall or issue a credit. Claims must be raised within 30 days of delivery with the lot number, photographs and your sowing record. Full details, including how we assess a claim, are set out in our Refund & Replacement Policy.
Why do field results differ from the stated germination?
A germination test measures seed viability under controlled conditions. Field emergence also depends on sowing depth, seedbed preparation, pre-treatment, soil moisture, temperature, pests and weather. Follow the sowing and pre-treatment notes supplied with your order to get closest to the tested figure.
Do seeds need pre-treatment before sowing?
Many forestry species do. Hard-coated seeds such as subabul and gulmohar usually need scarification or a hot-water soak, and some species are best sown fresh. Species-specific sowing and pre-treatment notes are supplied with every order, and our team can advise for your site before you buy.

Ordering, pricing & GST

How do I place an order?
Send us a quote request with the species, quantity and delivery pincode, or call us directly. We confirm current availability and price, then issue a proforma invoice. An order is confirmed once you accept the quotation and payment terms in writing.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Most seed is sold from 1 kg upwards, and the pack sizes available for each species are listed on its product page. Some high-value species are available in smaller packs. For very small quantities, contact us and we will tell you what we can supply.
Do you sell small quantities to individual growers?
Yes. Where a smaller pack size is offered it appears in the pack-size list on the product page. If the size you want is not listed, ask us — availability depends on the species and the season.
Do you provide a GST invoice?
Yes. We are GST registered and every order is supplied with a GST invoice, which institutional and government buyers can use for reimbursement and audit. Our GSTIN is printed in the site footer and on all invoices.
What payment methods and terms do you accept?
We accept bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) and UPI. Standard terms are advance payment against a proforma invoice. Government departments, institutions and established trade buyers can request purchase-order based terms, which are agreed in writing before dispatch.
How long is a quoted price valid?
Seed prices move with each collection season and with availability, so quotations state their own validity period — typically a short window. Prices shown on the website are indicative of the current season and are confirmed at the time of quoting.

Bulk & project supply

Can you supply bulk quantities for plantation projects?
Yes. Bulk and project supply is our main business. We supply government departments, private companies, nurseries, institutions and large-scale plantation programmes. Send your species list, quantities and required-by date through the bulk quote form and we will confirm what we can supply and by when.
Can you help choose species for our site?
Yes. Tell us the location, soil type, rainfall and the purpose of the planting — timber, avenue, fodder, ornamental or restoration — and we will suggest species suited to those conditions and tell you honestly which we can supply this season.
When should we order for a monsoon planting programme?
Order well ahead. Most forestry seed is collected in a defined season and demand peaks before the monsoon, so popular species can be committed early. Tell us your planting window when you enquire and we will confirm whether we can meet it.
Can you tell us where the seed was collected?
Collection region information is available on request for project and tender orders, subject to what our collection records show for that lot. Ask before ordering if provenance documentation is a requirement of your tender, so we can confirm what we are able to provide in writing.

Shipping & delivery

Do you ship across India?
Yes, we despatch across India. Smaller consignments go by courier and larger consignments by surface freight or transport operator. Some remote destinations and certain states may have restrictions or longer transit times, which we confirm at the time of quoting.
How soon is my order despatched?
Orders for seed in stock are normally despatched within a few working days of payment being confirmed. Species that are collected to order, or bulk consignments scheduled around a planting window, are despatched on a date agreed with you in writing.
How is freight charged?
Freight is charged at actuals and depends on weight, volume and destination. It is quoted separately on your proforma invoice before you pay, so there are no surprise charges after despatch.
What if my consignment arrives damaged or short?
Inspect the consignment at delivery. If packaging is damaged or the weight is short, note it on the carrier's delivery document, photograph the consignment before opening it further, and contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can pursue the claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement.

After your order

How should I store seed before sowing?
Keep seed cool, dry and out of direct sunlight in its sealed pack until sowing. Storage life varies by species — some, such as neem and sal, lose viability within weeks and must be sown fresh, while many hard-coated species store for a season or more. Storage guidance is included with your order.
How do I raise a replacement or refund claim?
Email us with your invoice number, the lot number from the pack, photographs of the seed and pack, and your sowing and storage record. We respond within a set timeframe and, where a claim is upheld, arrange a replacement or credit. The full process and timelines are in our Refund & Replacement Policy.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Yes. You can contact us with sowing, nursery and establishment questions for the species we have supplied, by phone, WhatsApp or email during business hours.
